Oil Bridge O-ring size?

Hi Steve:

I went to install new o-rings for the oil bridge pressure pipe
and found that they are slightly undersized in thickness and OD when compared to the originals. Both Pelican and Sunset carry the same
o-ring (PN 999-701-449-40). The fit does not give me a leak free confidence. Have you run into this problem?
....I hate to do it, but if I can't locate a fatter o-ring I'd have to apply a light coat of something like Curil-T.

Thank you. I'm getting close to bringing my distributor by for a rebuild, look forward to meeting you.

Hi Ben,

We do not use factory or Victor-Reinze gaskets, seals and O-rings due to marginal or poor QC as this has been an on-going problem for many years.

Our gasket supplier provides much higher level products than what others use so thats our solution.

You may be able to make those work with Curil-T, but be VERY VERY careful; that stuff migrates into places which carry nasty consequences when too much is used.
