Whining noise from gear box or transmission

Hi guys,
I'm a new owner of a 993 c4 1995 with 110K miles manual transmission. The car passed a PPI without any mayor flaws but after shipping the car to Dubai ( where I eventually live) I noticed a whining noise coming from the center of the car it sounds to me like gear box.
The sound is only when any gear is engaged an the clutch is depressed while the engine is loaded or accelerating.
Other than that the car runs great shifts and shifts precisely, the clutch was replaced 10 k miles ago as well as time chain and top end.
Is not too loud but is noticeable as I said I'm new in this forum and is my first Porsche.
I would appreciate any help that can point me in right direction before starting to spend money in the trouble shooting.

Hi,

Does the transmission make more noise under acceleration or de-acceleration?

Does it make that noise at an idle?

Make sure the oil level is correct.

Look to see if they replaced the pilot bearing when the clutch was done.

Check the linkage very carefully to make sure nothing is touching the body.

Disconnect the driveshaft coupling at the gearbox and drive the car to see if that changes anything (ignore the ABS warning light; it will off once everything is reconnected).

Thank you for your replay.
If I recall right it does it in any gear when acelereting or decelerating,it is a hi pitch noise that increse as I rev up de engine.
It does not sound when maintaining speed.
I'm out of town for a week so I won't be able to play with it to troubleshoot.
The first thing I'll do is replace the oil to check for debris.
I'm not sure how to check the linkage( sorry I don't have a shop manual yet)
And no idea how to disconecct drive shaft coupling.
Any gidance on that?
Or where I find how do that?
