I have put a G5020 with LSD from a 993 in a mid-engine Ferrari replica (therefore upside down). I have driven it for around 10k miles without a problem. it has two recently developed issues: (i) upon moderately hard acceleration the backend steps out to the right consistently; and (ii) progressively harder shifting. I am using redline 75/90 ns. A couple of days ago, I added 1 oz of GM friction modifier. if anything, it made the shifting harder. Could there be a problem with the LSD that causes the "stepping out?" Is there anything else that might cause this? it is so bad that I have had significant skidding on public roads.
Does the harder shifting indicate a particular type of problem?
Thanks for your help.
