CV joint wear has to be really bad to make the car move sideways; I'd be checking the rear control links and alignment. If the link bushings are new, I'd sure recheck alignment, specifically static & kinematic toe settings. See Brandon Kraus @ Roger Kraus Racing in Castro Valley for that after the new suspension is installed.

Look at the bottoms of the folds in the CV boots for cracks and loss of grease.

I'd also recheck each & every bloody bolt & nut in the rear suspension for proper torque since anything loose causes the same symptoms. :) :)

Very pleased to hear that the chip works well for you; these are been quite successful for our clients. The RS LWF/clutch kit really makes the engine feel a lot snappier and much like the older 911's.
