Location of CCU for HVAC

Postby # 37 » Fri Feb 01, 2013 7:04 pm

I recently bought an entire HVAC system as back up from a racer
breaking down a 964.
Though the CCU is not known for failing, such as the servos and blowers do,
i would like to know where that sucker is located?
thanks

The CCU is in the dash in a self-contained unit.. It's in a DIN case in the dash, to the left of the radio. You can remove it with the two-pin key (which can be created by bending a wire coat hanger in a U shape).

thanks Tom!
Do you have a photo of the actual unit?
I have access to parts but they are haphazard - a picture would be great to identify it.

It is the unit that you can see in the dash to the left of the radio. You use it to change the temperature, fan speed, air routing, turning on/off the AC, etc.
