Steve, I read in an old post that you once recommended Mobil1 V-Twin 20w-50 Motorcycle oil for our motors. Is this still the case? What's everyone's feeling on synthetic vs dino oil? Thanks!

Someone told me to "use Mobil 1 15/50. It's the only Mobil product that still has the correct levels of zinc and other soft metals." How does this compare to the V-Twin oil?

This is a very debated item. You choice of an oil depends on the type of driving/racing you may be doing. Also, some weight oils do better in cold climates, and some are better for hot climates. I found this article interesting, especially the parts about too high levels
of ZDDP, and that the adding of ZDDP additives, decreases protection.
