Tiptronic to manual conversion

Hello Steve & others,

I'm wondering if anyone has done a tip to manual conversion or knows someone with first hand experience?

I had a shop do one for me. It's been there about four months to the day, 2.5 of which has been debugging the engine. The engine ran fine going in. They did the mechanical conversion, engine came out, valve job and degreased. They did the transmission coding at the DME. The only thing that remains is the tiptronic wiring harness with the TCU unplugged. According to their debugging: AFM, compression, cam timing, smoke test for vacuum, fuel pressure, ignition, injectors, CHT, O2 all check out. The engine is running lean... apparently. Pretty bad wobble and stalls out.

I'm not getting anything productive out of the shop. Any ideas?
