993 P&C's in a 964?

With one eye on a potential future rebuild, I have the chance to purchase some very low mileage Mahle P&C's from a 993.

Will they be a direct fit for my late model 964 C2?

To my knowledge the cylinders will fit, the pistons are the problem. 993 wrist pin size is different, so they will not fit 964 rods.
