Fuel Lines

Postby Charles Freeborn » Fri Jun 21, 2013 7:57 am

As I prep for my rear sway bar install I'm planning to replace all the fuel lines coming to and from the fuel pump, as I will need to remove it and it's mount to install new RARB consoles. What is the correct hose to use? Is my assumption correct that the pressure line runs around 75 psi?. Also would like to replace lines to and from the Fuel Filter. The crook neck solid to rubber (pn 911 356 074 01 ) is for all intents and purposes a goner. Can be ordered from derr mutterland, but is close to $100. Is the crimped joint (where rubber meets rigid) really necessary, or can I dissect and use a hose clamp w/new rubber? There is a very good hydraulic line shop in town that could build it custom for me....
Thanks!

Am I correct that the usual working pressure is @ 75 psi?
