So I've broken down the CV's that came with the SC gear I'm prepping for transplant into my '74.
Good news, bad news.... One side has clearly had it's joints replaced and are easily re-usable. The other not so much....
Odd thing is the boots were okay, joints still had grease - must have inhaled something abrasive in it's life, and not in all the races.
Ball bearings are fine. Question is can I reverse the joints so the stress is placed on the opposite side of the joint and run these for a while, or is it time to say sayonara?
