Shifters and 915 boxes

Postby Charles Freeborn » Sun May 12, 2013 9:03 pm

So my 915 shifts like crap. Especially 1st to 2nd. Stock shifter is now 39 years old. Do I bother pulling it out, apart, lube, and back together, or drop it in the recycel can and start over? What are the alternatives? I have a very to do long list of parts, all tugging on my wallet, so I'd like to keep this somewhat reality based....
Thx,

I'm down it CA now - may stop in @ EASY to see if he's got a servicable SC unit. Otherwise go with factory SS. Wevo would be nice, but out of my price range for now, and probably overkill...
Thanks!
