Exhaust recommendation 911 SC

Postby dynosoar1 » Mon Sep 25, 2017 8:44 am

Looking at several options and hooping to get input: Looking for increased power, lighter weight, and a much more aggressive sound for the car over stock.

Here's what I'm considering:

SSI's with 2 in 2 out sport muffler (Danske, M&K or other if anyone has strong opinions) of some sort......no drone hopefully. Or a dual in single out could work.

Some sort of tuned headers (equal length and sized primaries) setup for stock 3.0 and tied to a dual in/out muffler...or even a dual in single out setup.

Any suggestions for systems with proven results?

Hi,

I'm a big fan of SSI's on 911SC's since its relatively cheap power that makes a very noticeable improvement in acceleration. Naturally, the muffler is an integral part of this package and many mufflers make more noise than power.

I use & recommend dual-in,single-out mufflers to proven cockpit droning at cruise RPM's. Dual outlet ones simply make more noise, not power over single outlet versions.

1.5" headers may be used if one doesn't need any heat or defrost function. Not all headers are the same so one must choose wisely. :)

Naturally, there is no way to install cats so smog compliance is not possible.
