Big bore early Alum case

Hi Steve; I currently have a 68 aluminum case engine running in my 71S 911. I built the engine, with 2.2S Mahle's, E cams,& 2.2T heads. It's been a great running motor, but after 25 years, the engine is getting tired. I want to build a big bore 2.7-2.9 engine. I've been collecting parts over the years, including a 74.4 crank & rods, and a Carrera oil pump. My questions are:
1) What are my options for Pistons and cylinders? I've looked at the JE-Nickels. What about Mahle or Wossner's? What compression ratio is ok?
2) Heads, if I use the 2.2T heads, what should I open the ports up to?
3) Case. Can the spigots be safely opened up for the larger cylinders? I know about the oil bypass mod. What studs should I use?
4) Cams. I was going to use my S cams. But in the interest of keeping my numbers matching 2.2 together. What is good grind for these combos?
I planned on using my Webbers, and I have an Electromtive Crankfire set up.

Any advice or incite would be appreciated.
