Sporty Rake & Ride Height for a '73

Postby galt » Tue Aug 08, 2017 4:27 pm

I have a 1973 sunroof coupe with a hotrodded 3.2L motor in it (weighs about what a 2.2L would in the rear due to FG parts, carbs, Al trailing arms, etc.). I usually run 32 psi Front & 34 psi Rear in the tires (less plowing) that DI told me about.

I inherited rack spacers on the Front from a PO. Tires are 205/55R-15 Dunlop Direzza DZ102 SL on 6"/7" wheels. Torsion bars are 21/27.

I'd like to know what ride ht. would be best for fun street driving (I don't think I'll track it anymore due to age & living in the sticks). "Euro"?? whatever that is.
- also, is the wheel arch method worthwhile or should the torsion bar center, etc. method be used for best accuracy?

Same question re optimum fun (but not racing) for Rake and Alignment specs. too.

Thanks much!

Bentley?

Did Bentley come out with a manual for the early cars?

My apologies,...mind was elsewhere. :)

Factory shop manuals only, or one of those NLA little spec books.
