Porsche began using coil springs instead of Torsion Bars in 1989 on the 964 series cars. Performance springs can be used to lower and stiffen these cars for more predictable handling without degrading ride quality appreciably.

H & R Racing Strut/Shock setup

Rennsport Systems uses and recommends street & racing springs from H&R for 964 Carrera 2, Carrera 4, 993 Carrera 2, Carrera 4, 996, Boxster and all Twin-Turbo applications.

Street springs will lower the car about 1.2" to 1.5" and firm up the ride for crisper handling without compromising ride quality. This is the first step in improving any 964, 993, 996 or Boxster.

Camberplates/Monoballs should only be used for track cars due to the increased noise and vibration levels unless addtional camber adjustment are required.

Rennsport System's custom racing springs are available in single and dual rate with tenders for 911-964-993-996-Boxster applications.

Please call for individual application and price information.
